Disney+ Hotstar Party T&Cs for the Offer - JioPostPaid Plus
Hotstar Party These Terms apply to JioPostPaid Plus users of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited's services ("Customer") and Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited ("Company"), and govern each party's rights and duties. The Customer is presumed to have accepted the following Terms by accepting the Offer:
Customer will be offered a subscription to Disney+ Hotstar Mobile membership provided by Novi Digital Entertainment Private Limited ("Hotstar"), with its registered office at Star House, Urmi Estate, 95 Ganpatrao Kadam Marg, Lower Parel (W), Mumbai - 400013, bundled with the eligible JioPostPaid Plus plans made available by the Company ("Membership"). For a period of 12 months following the date of purchase of their JioPostPaid Plus plans ("Offer"), the Customer will have access to the Membership at no additional cost.
This Offer is subject to the Department of Telecommunications ("DoT"), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting ("MIB"), Telecom Regulatory Authority of India ("TRAI"), or any other statutory authority from time to time issuing guidelines and regulations.
Eligibility
Customers who have subscribed to the applicable JioPostPaid Plus plans that include a Disney+ Hotstar Mobile Subscription are eligible for this promotion. The Company makes qualified JioPostPaid Plus plans with Best Movies on Hotstar Disney+ Hotstar Mobile Subscription available on the website postpaidplus-plans and in the MyJio app ("JioPostPaid Plus Plans"). The JioPostPaid Plus Plans and Offer are subject to modification at the Company's and/or its affiliates' sole discretion and without prior notice to the Customer. This is a one-time offer accessible to Company customers on their initial purchase of the JioPostPaid Plus Plan, and it will only be available to chevaliers once.
The Customer understands that in order to benefit from the Membership for a period of 12 months, the Customer must subscribe.
Activating the Offer
To take advantage of this offer, the customer must login in to the application using the primary/parent cell number used to subscribe to the JioPostPaid Plus Plan.
The Customer hereby permits the Company to collect and share the Customer's mobile number with Hotstar in order for the Company to provide a smooth experience to the Customer. This information would be used by Hotstar to help Customers in activating their services/accounts on their App.
Changes to the Terms of the Offer
The Company reserves the right to extend, cancel, discontinue, prematurely withdraw, change, alter, or modify this Offer or any part of it, including the eligibility criteria, at any time during the Offer period, in accordance with applicable regulations and/or orders and/or directions, or at its sole discretion, including due to business exigencies, regulatory authority and/or statutory changes, and for other reasons beyond its control. These Terms may be changed online in the future to reflect changes in the business, legal, and regulatory needs. Customers are recommended to revisit this page on a regular basis to examine the Terms and any updates.
Termination
If the Company suspects any fraudulent activity or misuse of the Offer, or if the Customer fails to comply with article 2.2, the Company may cancel or terminate the Offer at its discretion without prior notice, subject to the rights set forth in clause 4.1. In the event of termination due to fraudulent activity that the Company determines, in its sole judgement, breaches these Terms and/or any relevant legislation and/or constitutes fraud or misuse of the Offer, the Company shall not be liable to pay any reimbursement.
Regulatory Law
The Republic of India's laws apply to these Terms. All disputes are regulated by Indian law and are exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai.
Terms and Conditions
Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Company, this Offer cannot be combined with any other alternative offer or promotion of a similar character. By accepting this Offer, the Customer confirms and waives the National Do Not Call Registry's rules and regulations, and agrees to receive promotional messages and alerts from the Company. The Company reserves the right to send the Customer commercial communications by email, short messaging service, and other notifications/communications relating to the Offer.
This Offer is subject to force majeure events, such as acts of God or other events beyond the Company's reasonable control. The terms and conditions of the customer application form, as revised from time to time, will also bind the Customer. This Offer is subject to TRAI, DOT, or any other statutory authority's guidelines/directions from time to time. The terms and conditions set forth below do not supersede those set forth in the subscriber enrolment form/customer application form.
Disclaimer
Customer acknowledges that this Offer is given solely on the basis of "best efforts" and is contingent on acceptance of these Terms. Customer's participation in the Offer is entirely optional, and Customer expressly agrees to do so at his or her own risk. Company and its affiliates are not liable to any Customer for any loss, injury, or other liability resulting from participation in the Offer.
